Saturn enters Aquarius: Architecting futuristic solutions

March 21, 2020 at 9:58pm CST—Saturn enters the sign of the Water Bearer tomorrow. As Saturn moves into Aquarius, we’ll begin to feel a shift from one part of our lives to another. We’re wrapping up one area as we find ourselves at the beginning of a 2.5 year Saturn transit through another. Whereas Saturn in Capricorn might have dealt with more earthy, practical or substantial issues such as work, our living situations and even our bodies, Saturn in Aquarius is asking us to hold the high vision. This Saturn pushes known boundaries while architecting futuristic solutions in visionary landscapes.

Think about the Aquarius part of your chart. This is where you’re meant to consume information, innovate, and follow your own authority. Saturn touring through the tameless terrain of Aquarius will ask us to hone our genius while building solutions for the new world being birthed right now.

Saturnian beginnings can feel difficult. We’re at the bottom of a mountain, looking up at a strenuous climb. Just remember: a beginner’s mindset will serve us. Saturn pushes us out of our comfort level and asks us to start something new, or at the very least to reevaluate how we’ve been doing things up until now. During Saturn transits, we often accept more responsibility, gain authority, and face our fears. The payoff? Wisdom, authority and sustainable structures.

Saturn enters Aquarius on March 21st but then retrogrades back into Capricorn on July 1st. We can think of this time—March 21 to July 1—as a preview of what we’ll experience when Saturn enters Aquarius for good at the end of the year on December 16th.
