“Therefore you should not doubt, they say, that the material for making an image, if it is in other respects entirely consonant with the heavens, once it has received by art a figure similar to the heavens, both conceives in itself the celestial gift and gives it again to someone who is in the vicinity or wearing it.”
~ Marsilio Ficino, Three Books on Life

What are talismans?

Astrological Talismans are powerful transmitters of planetary energy. A Sun Talisman embodies the Sun itself, imparting solar qualities.

Golden Titan

Lord of the seasons, with thy fiery car and leaping coursers, beaming light from far. With thy right hand the source of morning light, and with thy left the father of the night. Agile and vig’rous, venerable Sun, fiery and bright around the heav’ns you run.

Orphic Hymn to the Sun

The image

Images play an important role in how talismans work. It is said that the effects of the magic are taken in through the eyes via the image and into the soul.

The source of the Sun’s image I am using for this Sun talisman comes from Cornelius Agrippa (1486-1535), a German physician, legal scholar, theologian, and an astrological magician.  Instructions for the image are found in his Three Books of Occult Philosophy, described as “the most complete repository of pagan and Neoplatonic magic ever compiled.” (Llewellyn)

“They made another Image of the Sun in a Diamond, at the hour of the Sun, it ascending in his exaltation; the figure of which was a woman crowned with the gesture of one dancing and laughing, standing in a Chariot drawn with four horses, having in her right hand a looking glass, or buckler, in the left a staffe, leaning on her breast, carrying a flame of fire on her head; They report that this Image rendreth a man fortunate and rich, and beloved of all.”  ~Second Book Chapter XLI. Of the Images of the Sun.

The back of the image carries the seals of Sun, his Intelligence Nakhiel and spirit Sorath.

Since gold is the Sun’s metal, it is gold plated silver with a bead of 24 karat gold placed on the woman’s shield.

Authentic magical talismans are never mass produced. In order for a magical talisman to bring the wearer results, it must be made within a narrow time frame and under specific conditions. The election window for this Solar talisman was between 6:58am—7:42am on July 29, 2020 in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.  Eight talismans were created during a ritualized magical procedure where they received their image and pass through the solar suffumigation.
In this election, we have the Sun in rulership in his domicile of Leo. He’s strongly placed in the first house conjunct the Ascendent. The waxing moon trines the Sun in her next aspect from the 5th House of Sagittarius which emphasizes self-expression and creativity.
In addition, the silver for these talismans was forged under another Solar magical election when the Sun was exalted in Aries on March 29 at 6:30am, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I’ve included a photo towards the bottom of this page of that morning of the goldsmith forging the silver. From March until July, the silver was kept on an altar dedicated to the Sun. Every Sunday during the Sun’s hour, I recited the Orphic Hymn to the Sun and offered a prayer. Then I passed the silver through the smoke of the incense repeating the qualities in the bulleted list above. The metal was uniquely charged to receive the Solar image during the July election when the Sun was in his domicile of Leo.
Incidentally, the Sun’s angel, Archangel Michael, is the Patron Saint of San Miguel de Allende and its world renowned neo-Gothic 17th-century church, Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel.

NOTE: The Sun talismans are sold out.

A Sun talisman costs $420 USD. Shipping and handling to the United States is $47 and to the United Kingdom is $59. I researched other shipping options from Mexico and this is the best one, both in terms of cost and safety.  Talismans are shipped overnight priority by FedEx. A tracking number is included. Unless held up in Customs, it has been taking three days to arrive to the destination.

The talisman is accompanied by a 12 page booklet instructing you on how to consecrate and work with your talisman.

Once the talisman is mailed to you, it is yours to keep. You cannot return it for a refund.

Please note that over time and with wear, the gold plating will fade and/or wear off. This will not affect the talisman’s power, and it will retain the gold bead on the shield. If the gold does wear, you can always have it replated at a jeweler.
